our new dog house
When we got maxx we got him a dog house,but he made it his own.As you can see he has eaten parts of it.
Beside all that he was just getting to big for it what do you think?
When Reana saw this house she knew this would not work for the two of them,so the job of a new dog house was on.
First things first we had to make sure that it was going to be big enought for the 2 of them.After the floor me and Krista put up the walls,and both of the dogs checked it out to make sure it was big enough.
Next was the carpet and framed the roof on,and at this point the dogs were happy with the progress.About this time we had to put it on hold for a few days tell we could get back it.
Three weeks later we got the front and back on.Kevin help me cut the hole out for the door,Krista help hammer them on and helped with the roof.
On the inside I caulked all the seams to keep the wind out and we added a light to help keep them warm
Last thing we did was the roof,Krista helped me do that part.She loves to work with her hands.
It is done for now and we got the okay from maxx.the kids will paint it later and I might add on a front pourch on later because I don't like the front.
I got some more pics of them in the doghouse but they won't upload right know so I'll do more later.
coming up this weekend we will be doing the baby room and we will post all that this weekend.

that s great that Krista is doing that stuff....i love to do stuff like that.
looks great!!!!
Do not forget to water seal it first then primer it then paint it. Make sure you get it up off the ground. Astro turff on the porch would work good when you are ready to do the porch so they do not take too much dirt or mud inside ther new house. Good job everyone!
