cookies 4 sale

This year krista became a girlscout so that means she is selling cookies and she had a ball selling them this year.she got to help out at a stand and they sold over 60 boxes in 2 hours not too bad.as far as presales of cookies she only sold at church school and only on our street,and to our friends.Grand total was 311 boxes sold(we bought 56 boxes)and she sold more than anyone eles.the troop leader said they have never sold as many as they did this year.As a troop they have sold over 1000 boxes so far, not to bad for about 7 girls.

this last weekend I got a chance to take krista to go see a exotic animal and reptiles and we had a blast.Krista took a well you will see.

She was a little freaked out but she had fun.we saw alot of diffent animals.

and of cores we saw tortoises too.

I will try to blog at lest once a week but with everyone working we a are all on the go all the time.this next week donna will be going to cali for a week but more about that later.

Well I keep on saying I'm going to fix up my truck(1976 GMC stright 6 with a three speed)but it has sat there for 3 years now.the back is my catch all.I fill it up and when it gets full I make a dump run.So I guss you could say it is just a big trash can.At one point me and kevin thought of fixing it up for him but he got his car, so it sat again.For the past year I keep on saying I'm going to sell it for what I paid for it(100.00) well my neighber took me up on it today and with a heavy heart I said yes.Donna is happy becuse she thinks it is an eyesore but she can't see what it could be.Atlest now I will have more room in my driveway for moe junk(ha ha)only kiding now we can park our van in the driveway.the truck won't go far it will only be nextdoor so I can go vist whenever I want.Now I have to get the junk out the back oh well dump-run time.

this one is for dads

For all the dads out there that have young kids(especially girls)they want to to hanna montana,so since donna is sick I thought I would take krista to go see her at the movies in 3-D.I never really watched the show and now I know why.When I go to the movies it should be quiet and kids should stay in there seats.To my supriz that's nothing close to what was waiting for us there.After waiting in line for 1/2 hour we found our seats(souronded by kids)we put on our 3-D glasses on as the movie started,the kids got excited and I found myself sitting in front of a kid that kept the beat by kicking my seat all movie long.Well it was a long hour and a half but it was all worth it when krista looks up with her brown eyes and tells me thank you and huged me all the way out.If you look at krista blog(her new one "turtle tales"http://fonkymonkey.blogspot.com/ )she will have a diffrent side to the show .I told her to blog after school because it was to late.I knew I should have stayed home and watched WWE. LOL.

time well spent

we got to have our grandbaby last night and I frogot how hard it is (since donna was not here ) to take care of a baby.with the help of krista we made it through the night.Got up this morning changed her and feed her and after playing for a while she was ready to go back to sleep.I'lltake more pics later when she wakes up.
