merry christmass

the kids(krista and kevin) got up at about 3:00 a.m. and started in on there stockings but we sent them back to bed tell about 6:30 a.m. them we started off with max and his first christmass stocking.















i think he liked it alot, then krista got a acoustic guitar from santa (and she has been playing it for us all day)but we love it!!!!!!!!!!






she also got a lot of spy stuff this year(she thinks she is a spy)

brit got a digital camra some boots jacket etc..


kevin got a lock box filled with car care stuff for his car.he also got 2 way radios etc....















after a longgg morning of opening we got up
and got ready for churh,were we had a great service filled with music from the worship team to the kids worship team the kids were soooo cute.

krista had a lot of fun up on stage. after we handed out all the presents it was time for christmass ham at donnas mom&dads with her family.



























all the grand kids opened there presents and we gave mom &dad there.by the end of the night we were done it was finaly time for a good night sleep. MARRY CHRISTMASS OT ALL AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

helping the homeless

today i saw a man on the corner with a singh that said "keep rudolph's noise red, need money for beer" and he had a red noise on.on every corner out here there is someone asking for money.there has been times when they have a singh that says will" work for food "and i have told them i'll give them 40.00 to help me on some gutter cleaning jobs and they say "i'm wait for my wife " or some other reson.we give them food sometimes but how many really need help or just want the money.they can make more money by begging than working,i work hard for the money i make,but if they can work there are places they can go,like" labor ready" thats what i have had to do when times were hard. sometime things are hard and if anyone knows that i do,but how can you tell the ones that really need it.has anyone eles had this problem? how do you deal with it becase i want to help if i can.

time to welcom the kids

our friends little girl emmy started blogging today so my little girl krista wanted one too. so we say hi to the newest bloggers.kristas is krista's jungle so stop by and tell them hi.

still frozone

this is what i woke up to when i try to go work this morning. it rained a little then the temp droped so everything turned to ice.it only took me about 20 mins to defrost the truck.



meanwhile krista and my mom made a snow man with the snow that was left today.the kids had a snow day from school today so they had fun. they go to school on tus then they are off for christmass break.




well time to go to sleep they said school tomorrow and work also.

donna's home

today after church we went to get Donna from the hospital. when we were in there i look out and all of a sudden we were in the middle of a ice storm. we made it home by about 2:00 droped her of at home then went to get her meds from the store.they siad it would take about 45 min to fill. by that time it was full one snowing. It was so bad we had to go home and get the truck with chains on

we just might have a wihte Cristmass after all, that would be nice i never have had one.

All is well

Well we started our day at 5:30 a.m. went trough all the ckeck-in at the hospital and by 7:30 she was being wheeled it.by 11:30 she is out. the doctor said that every thing went just as planed and she should be awake by about 1:00,so i and on my way back to the hospital after i post this. I want to thank evryone for there prays.i'll keep everyone updated thank you again!!!

tree triming

today we finaily trimed our tree.this year we went out and got a nobel, i think they look nicer.so donna found the fullest one in the lot,i like them more on the thin side maybe next year.
for all you that know about donnas arm, she gose in the hosp. on thur morning so if i don't write much this week you will know why. i will at lest let you know how it went by thur night, thank you for all your prays.





















donna just got a text message from a friend it said"if a fat man grabs youand stuffs you in a bag don't be afraid... I told santa i wantedyou for cristmass" send to 10 people you care about.

a fun night

well on sat night we had a full night for donna's birthday. it startedby going to the movies then a nice dinner at the macaroni gril downtown(donna heard about it form her best friend debby) had a great meal then out for a drive and out to a hotel(on kids!! ) for a night just for us. I try to get out 1 or 2 times a tear just us 2 even if it is just for a night.and we also got our tree on sat afternoon.there was a santa there so we got some pic.hope you like them.

cold

okay now i am missing cali weather, i woke up this morning and it was 26 and that is befor the wind chill...berrrrrrrrrr we normaly have wet weather tell jan then it starts to get cold.this makes it hard to work, as soon as i spray for bugs it will turn to ice.well better get to work at lest it is sunny.

a blessed night

last night a brother a church gave me 2 tickets for steven curtis chapman and mercyme.the best part was, they were seats in a suite,and i never been in one befor.we had a great night of music and worship,it was a great birthday present, then for donna's birthday dec. 10 we are going to see the chronicles of narnia then out to dinner and more.the best part is we don't have to be home sat. night, so we will see were that night leads.

candycane stars

there are 6 steps to make the candycane stars 1 st is to glue 2 candycanes together like this

then you glue the sides together like this but make sure you glue them good so they don't fall apart. i like to glue one side then after all 4 are glued together i turn it over and glue the other side.(my wife says i over do everything maybe i do but they don't fallapart when you throw them) lol.

after you make 2 , 4 pointed stars like this .............

you put them one on the other to make a 8 pointed star. just put spots( big spots) of glue where they come together.it should look like this.

then you are ready to put the candy mints on i like to use green and red but you make it the way you like.

but before you put the last candy piece on you have to glue a piece of ribbin on so it has something to hang from or you can do it after you are all done.

when you are all done you will a home made candycane star.

having fun

we are making candy cane stars this Cristmass and they are so much fun. Donna saw them at britts schoolthis last week so we tryed them , what do you think?









see i have Cristmass spirt,we are going to get our tree this fri. every year we always get it on the 9 th if at all possible(it is in between our birthdays).then on sat i am taking Donna out to the movies and more( but i can't say now just in case she reads this).
yesterday we got our new decoration for the Cristmass tree it is so cute.Donna loves carrousel horse so that is what we got this year. it's cool, it lights up with the lights on the tree.

kristas preformance

friday night kristas school had a preformance for the holidays. here are some pics from it,i don't know if i can do video but i will try. well i tryed and it would not load so if anyone knows how to put video on let me know please.

seattle

well today they sent me up to seattle to train some new guys and i wake up this morning and everything is covered in snow. so it will be a fun day cleaning gutters today!!!! when i bet home i will post pics of krista, her school has a christmass thing last night and we took pics but i can't do it from my hotel room. wish me good luck today.
